1 oz. James Bond 007 silver coin, minted in 2021 by The Perth Mint.
In 1953, journalist Ian Fleming wrote Casino Royale, a novel in which the protagonist was a British intelligence agent. It was so popular that it quickly made its appearance in the world of cinema: its first film was released in 1962 and the last in 2021, with almost 20 films in between.
The character is very distinctive: a British secret service agent, always perfectly dressed in his dark suit, refined and not hesitating to use his best weapons when he needs to. In fact, we could almost say that he is one of the most famous protagonists in the world of cinema.
The Perth Mint wanted to honour him with a silver coin. On it, we see on the cross a mythical scene from his 'opening': Bond approaches the screen and shoots a small hole, which quickly fills with blood. This effect is created by a sort of circular water stain.
In the middle of the coin, we find the agent's logo: the number 007 with a gun at the top of the last number.
On the cross, the face of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Ian-Rank Broadley with a flat background and with the coin's specifications around it, as well as its face value, mintage and year of issue.
The James Bond 007 coin was minted in the year 2021 with 1 ounce of 99.999% pure silver, has a diameter of 40.90 millimetres and a thickness of 3.50 millimetres. Get the bullion at the best possible price and add it to your movie collection!
