On the side of the coin, we have the Armenian coat of arms, and just below it, the value of the coin and its year of issue. To the left of the face value of the coin, which differs according to the weight of the bullion, we can see the LEV symbol (LEV Edelmetallverarbeitung Leipziger, Leipzig House of Precious Metals), and to the right, the weight and purity of the coin.
It is on the cross of this silver Noah's Ark coin from 2020 that it really shines. It was designed by Eduard Kurghinyan, and shows one of the most iconic moments in the Bible: the Ark that Noah created by command of God to save all the species of the earth from the universal flood. In the image we can see in the background Mount Ararat - located in Armenia - and from which the sun appears, whose rays are projected with horizontal lines towards the top filling the few holes that the coin could have. In the centre of the coin we can see the ark crossing the waters, which are dynamically represented. On the lower left, a dove is holding an olive branch in what appears to be the image of God. The legend surrounding the image is written in both Armenian and English "Noah's Ark
The edge of the coin is sober as there is no decoration on it and it is simply smooth, letting eyes focus on the cross.
